Living within the community, we stay hands-on to guide every step of our projects, ensuring resources are used effectively. When we see that funds could be better spent elsewhere, we are not afraid to make tough decisions to prioritize what truly benefits the community in the long run.

Paul grew up in this community and understands its culture, traditions, and daily challenges. Together, we’ve earned the trust of the people we serve. The community even calls Meike ‘Mwende,’ a Kamba name meaning ‘the loved one,’ which reflects the strong bond and mutual respect we’ve built. This trust ensures that our solutions are embraced and succeed in the long term.

When a family’s transport business was at risk after losing their ox, we stepped in to provide a new one, ensuring their livelihood could continue. In addition, we work to improve access to critical resources like food, clean water, and agricultural tools, helping families overcome daily struggles.
